GTAW welder — Loup County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Loup County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
