The role involves keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Part-time with flexible hours.
