Immediate opening: finishing plasterer (Nebraska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Grant County, Nebraska. You will work at a new-build housing development. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Day to day you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat.
