You should have: • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps Day to day you will diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; carry out oil and filter changes; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid.
