Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Appomattox County, Virginia. The job is in a residential housing project. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
