The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
