Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in San Juan County, Colorado. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
