Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Huntington County, Indiana. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions 2+ years on the tools preferred.
