Join our team: we are hiring a puncture repair technician in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. You should have: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Awareness of workshop health and safety On a typical shift you will demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
