Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Hand County, South Dakota. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
