Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
