Bar bender and fixer wanted in Ford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ford County, Illinois. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
