Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Ford County, Illinois. The role involves: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame You should have: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
