Tailor machinist wanted in Stafford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Stafford County, Kansas. You will work at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Part-time with flexible hours.
