Join our team: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Le Sueur County, Minnesota. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
