Plant operator wanted in Ouachita Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a road-building project. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
