Cement mason — Wood County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Wood County, Wisconsin. You will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
