Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Brown County, Minnesota. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Day-to-day duties: • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors 5+ years on the tools preferred.
