We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Whiteside County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher On the job you will handle: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Full-time with occasional weekends.
