We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Causeway Coast and Glens, Northern Ireland. You will work at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
