Tig welder • Lowndes County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Lowndes County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
