Last-mile delivery agent — Borough of Tameside

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a last-mile delivery agent in Borough of Tameside, England. You will be based at an e-commerce delivery centre. Ideal candidate: • Basic reading to match addresses correctly • Able to ride long hours in all weather • Smartphone with internet for the delivery app Day-to-day duties: • Return undelivered parcels and reconcile cash at the hub • Carry the vehicle papers (RC, insurance, licence) on every run • Plan the day's route to cover all drop-offs in the least time • Scan each package barcode on the handheld device before loading • Update delivery status (delivered / failed / rescheduled) in the app • Collect cash-on-delivery payments and issue the receipt Full-time with occasional weekends.
