Semi-automatic welder — Mineral County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Mineral County, West Virginia. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
