Lift installation engineer wanted in Thomas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Thomas County, Kansas. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Full-time with occasional weekends.
