Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket.
