Argon welder wanted in Hampshire County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
