We are recruiting: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Putnam County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
