Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Charleston County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; insulate and ventilate the roof void; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
