Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Bedford County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
