Immediate opening: escalator technician (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Fremont County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy lift company. You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy.
