Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Mitchell County, Iowa. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing.
