Nursery worker — South Ayrshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a nursery worker in South Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work at a plant nursery. Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Part-time with flexible hours.
