Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. You will work in a toolroom. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
