Now hiring: hydraulic crane operator (Idaho)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Idaho County, Idaho. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. On the job you will handle: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
