Horticulturist — Sussex County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Sussex County, New Jersey. The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Meals and transport allowance provided.
