Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day to day you will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level.
