Gtaw welder — Claiborne Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Rotating shifts.
