Furniture maker wanted in Gallatin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Gallatin County, Kentucky. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Six days a week, one day off.
