Safety marshal — Cross County

Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
