Reinforcement fitter wanted in Scott County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Scott County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Part-time with flexible hours.
