Great opportunity: reinforcement fitter (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Berrien County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
