Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will work on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
