Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Edu, Kwara State. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
