Wood machinist — Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Washington County, New York. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height 3+ years on the tools preferred.
