Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in West Northamptonshire, England. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £2,800 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
