Join our team: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Ashtabula County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Overtime paid at a premium rate.
