You will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
