Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Shoshone County, Idaho. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day to day you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor.
