Canteen cook wanted in Unicoi County

Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in Unicoi County, Tennessee. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks You should have: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
