Join our team: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Monmouth County, New Jersey. On a typical shift you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience.
